My name is Wim van Beek. I have been working as a lawyer since 1996.
I find this a magnificent occupation, in which I know myself to be bound to the original core values, but am able to practice them in a modern way.
The fact that my enthusiastic approach pays off already showed when as a young lawyer I won the National Moot Courts in 1998.
I stand in close relation to my profession, which shows from my longlasting membership of the Board of the Bar Association Breda (2002-2009) and my membership as a judge in the Disciplinary Board (2013-present day).
After 15 years of working at a partnership in Breda, I started working independently in 2016.
I am socially involved as member of a cycling federation.
I am an avid fan of cycling, a sport in which my character traits are also visible: good preparation, effort and passion, perservering until the end. I am trained to be your (legal) leadout.

What I do
I specialize in employment law (registered in the register of jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association).
This discipline, in which I have been active since 1996, fits me very well.
It's about concrete interests, requires quick and adequate action, negotiation skills but also strategic insight, acquired through years of experience.
I serve the business as well as the private market.
I find it of great importance to look at my discipline from different points of view.
To know what's "going on on the other side" is of great additional value to the way I treat cases.
Naturally I completed the necessary specialization courses and I have been a member of the Association of Employment Lawyers, a quality mark recognized by the Dutch Bar Association, ever since it was founded in 2005.
My memberships at these Associations require me to collect 20 study points per year, of which 16 must be acquired in employment law.
Of course I do way more; gaining knowledge is a constant process.
Where I work
My office is located in Ulvenhout, right below Breda.
It can be found in the centre of the town close to the church.
It can easily be accessed from the highway and there is enough space to park in the direct surroundings.
We provide our services for a price of EUR 225,- per hour, exclusive of VAT.
Unlike many other forms we do not raise this price with an increment for office expenses.
It is of course possible that specific expenses are made for your case, that you will be charged for (like court registry, bailiff's fees etc.).
General terms and conditions apply to our services, which you can read
In case you are not satisfied with our services and we can not solve this problem by common agreement, we use the regulations for complaints advised by the Dutch Bar Association, which you can find
here. We both are affiliated with the Disputes Committee of Lawyers.
