Who I am

My name is Jurgen Hooymayers, lawyer since 1996. After having been in partnerships for 15 years with a few other firms, I decided to collaborate with Wim van Beek in 2020. The field of law has interested me immensely for years because of the skills that are required when it comes to being solution-oriented and, when necessary, being combative, of course combined with thorough knowledge of my disciplines.

I know my way excellently in the field of employment law. For many years I have been supporting entrepreneurs and individuals in conflicts and with all their questions about employment law. I have gained a lot of experience with guiding reorganisations and dismissal(procedures). This amount of experience and guiding entrepreneurs as well as individuals meanwhile results in an important additional value: I am able to assess the problem of the counterparty and to respond to that.

I also have years of experience in corporate and contract law. Because of this, I can perfectly assume the position of the client. Whether you, as a client, have to do with judging and drawing up contracts, liability or discussions with counterparties, I am your sparring partner. I like to get to the root of the issue to act decisively from there.

What I do

I have registered the jurisdictions of employment law and corporate law in the register of jurisdictions of the Dutch Bar Association. This registration obliges one to collect 10 education points per jurisdiction every year, according to the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.

I attempt to prevent a procedure for my client. My goal is to achieve an optimal result for my client without having to consult a judge. When a procedure seems inevitable, I of course give it my everything.

Where I work

My office can be found in Breda. It is located in the Regus Business Park and can easily be accessed from the highway. Sufficient parking space is available.

Terms and conditions

We provide our services for a price of EUR 225,- per hour, exclusive of VAT. Unlike many other forms we do not raise this price with an increment for office expenses. It is of course possible that specific expenses are made for your case, that you will be charged for (like court registry, bailiff's fees etc.).

In case you are not satisfied with our services and we can not solve this problem by common agreement, we use the regulations for complaints advised by the Dutch Bar Association, which you can find here. We both are affiliated with the Disputes Committee of Lawyers.
